You know the royal dildo in my 5 minute game? That was originally going to be a weapon, but I had to cut that out since it would have stretched the game out waaaaay beyond 5 minutes. Just like with all the S&M gear, I originally was going to have a set, but for a 5 minute game they're just a handful of items. (Making a set would require an additional quest, and more time added on that clock. I already stretched that clock as is.)

Yeah, not really going for filthy ideas with this game. They're running around in towels but it's ultimately a pretty clean good natured game. Hell I even keep them from saying Fuck and Shit.

Hope you get much progress done when you are in the mood to continue this. You have a crapload of ideas, you just need to see them all the way to the end one of these days.

Nah, I'll never get through to the end on 90% of them, but theres a reason, they sucked.

you test ideas, they fail you take what you learned from them, and you use that for the next idea, you test it, it fails, you take what you learned and apply it to the next, it keeps going into a chain, until you've got a stable compound idea that can take a beating.

This is true. But learning is a never ending process and there also comes a point where everything seems like failure and you get stuck in an infinite loop of purging and rebooting.

Besides, not finishing anything (regardless of how crappy) you miss out on another important part of learning: Feedback.

If his rotting corpse could rise from the grave he'd rampage across the world and burn every last copy of it. See where I'm going with this?
